From the viewpoints to the fountains, the drinking troughs, the suggestive landscape of the countryside or the still lives that reproduce domestic and closed environments, thirteen years have nearly passed. In this long career, the evolution of Desiderio Delgado’s art has been ascending. The compositions and color of his paintings have reached a goal that was already sensed as his objective since the beginning of his artistic career.

But I do not now only recall the painter that I met far ago above 1986, but the friend with whom I have lived and shared nearly my entire life, our life in Córdoba, a city where we both arrived being still young and full of excitement that we still share.
